I like this organic version much better. It makes a lot more sense than an armour that just appears out of nowhere.
Problem with the organic armor is that for such a little detail it changes alot of the story. With the organic armor you lose:
Sol Tekkamen. Big portion of the story was Ringo and Balzac's sol tekkamen suits
Ability to interface technology. Another big plot element is that pegas functions as a means to allow blade to transform. If the technology was organic it would complicate things to a pretty big degree, not to mention it would completely eleminate pegas all togeather.
Blade's dependance on the space knights. After he gets pegas, hes far more dependant on the space knights. Again if the armor was organic and grew out of him it would eleminate the whole backstory of him working with the space knights.
I liken the armor that comes from the crystal that envelopes all tekkamen as clay or marble that is then sculpted or chizzled to make the shape of the armor. IE blade uses crystal/pegas, crystal grows over body (or energy emited from crystal covers body), solidifies and armor takes shape. If I recall for all tekkamen you see the crystal form shatter after they have transformed, further reinforcing this concept.
