I've added Golden Boy for you NW... link is above...

Also to note for Moderators/Admins... I want to redo Demonics initial post on this and will be adding a lot more links and what not... so it's up to you... you can delete that post so I can add it to my initial one here and keep updating as I find new sites or I can constantly bug one of you to keep adding each site I come across and want to add. Your choice. Get back to me on this before I begin this small project.

No mod or admin available for comment on that? Well I've already started and I'm halfway through completion now.

Ok intitial post is doen for now. I request everyone's input on it and what they thing needs to be changed. The intial post is by no means finish and I have more sites to add. That's not even close to my complete list in my favorites. But I want input before I go adding more so let me know.

I accept constructive feedback for no bad-mouthing please. And I do mean I want EVERYONE's feed back.

I have all those... and they will be added later but I wanted info regarding what I have put in there before finishing.

Also... I need someone to check those IRC links who knows how to use mIRC and whatnot to ensure they work and if they do I will be adding the IRCs for all the other groups that have them.

There's very little you can say about it then a damn good job! I also like the part where you mentioned the review topic. Maybe you can add other sites who write extensive reviews or only give short synopsises about animes like animenfo or so. And also baka-updates for a general torrent/irc site.

I dunno if it's firefox but when I clicked an IRC link I got directed to the mirc homepage.

Hmm... the IRC links keep adding http in front of them... any idea on how to fix that so it automatically opens up the IRC window or whatever? Right now it tries to open a HTTP address instead. That might be the problem

I see what you mean. Without the http button to add links that automatically open I don't think it's possible to make such a link for an irv channel.

Maybe there is but for that you have to ask GJ. But suppose the auto-linking doesn't sork then you maybe can an extra section for irc servers and the channels they have for anime.

Well I was hoping to keep from having more sections that I already have so it wouldn't make the post too long. I'll have to see what GJ says after he reads all this and then go from there. If I have to add another section I will.

hmm. a double posting, but for a good reason. to contribute to this list, i offer:

National Anime

it's a direct download site, but it's not exactly at full strength at the moment. Last year it would have rocked, but this year their in a slight mess. Their servers are a bit screwy and they've drastically reduced the output of anime for the time being to clear things up. what's interesting about them is that they have great re-encoders smile.gif the encoders there re-encode to Real Format (.rmvb) but they maintain a great deal of quality at around 50-70 MBs.. a great asset for those on dial up or if you just want to have a large collection more effeciently. I think they plan on a request anime system, where 13 people (if they get the chance) can request an anime.

they plan on bumping up to high quality, but i dont know how that'll work out since that would chew up server space. (besides the smaller the file the quicker the download, and quality doens't bother me all that much-- for heaven sakes i start of with teknoman wmvs -- NA's is 4 times better than those)

Also, there is the donator's club.. it's $5 a month for faster downloads and a wider range to download from, i think the list is over 100.

now i take my humble leave china.gif

Just so you know... and I checked the site out... you have to register to be able to check anything out. To download any kind of anime though you have to pay $5/month. Site isn't worth it.

Posts from 4/28 to 7/9 can be purged or deleted from this topic TF. Thanks.

Also... I removed the IRC links on the fansub groups that had them until GJ lets me know how I can add then without the HTTP crap at the beginning.

it wasn't always like that, they have free downloads for 5 series (which change every month).. they were interesting to begin with, but not anymore, the forum isn't hot either. i liked the re-encoding idea to help dial-uper and ppl with low HDD, but now they are offering 'high' quiality... essentially you're better off with torrents.

might as well make myself feel special, i know it's a double post (sorta) but it'll help those ignorant to look in the Transformers Topic:

http://prototype24.ath.cx:6969/index.html This has ALL of G1. YOu know it's summoning you, go download it NOW!

i think to prevent 'piracy' accusation the owner of this tracker isn't distributing the torrents himself, so what ya have to do is download the torrent from Isohunt (or some other search engine :S) ... anyway sorry Roger, someone beat ya to it dry.gif

Tips: For trackers such as Anime-Supreme's (for Zone of the Enders) and A-HQ's you should also note that you need to register to use the tracker. Also, A4E has Kenshin as well, and they say they'll finish it this month with the final 5 episodes.

I take it since you haven't replied back you haven't any idea when it might be feasible to do so?

Also... this topic can be cleaned up now. Added all suggestions and posts have been reviewed and all are saved on my computer. Remove whatever posts in this you think necessary. Thanks
