For future reference try backing away from the models a bit when you take the pic. That way it gets a bit more in focus tongue.gif

A couple shots of my Masterpiece Optimus Prime [Takara version]

Close up of my Master Grade RX-78 Ka. Version

a picture from a while back

Some shots of my MG God Gundam

I still have more since I took these but I haven't taken pictures of them.

I've been looking into getting some Gundam Seed and Destiny models, and I've got a few questions for your people.

Anyone know of a good website to get them? (Canadian prefered, but doesn't have to be.)

What about airbrushing? What kind of materials do you need for it?

What other stuff do I need to get, for example, is glue seperate, or does it come with it, and are paints seperate as well?

Lastly, which size gives you best results, 1/144, 1/100, 1/60?

Your advice would help me greatly smile.gif.

Best place would be www.HLJ.com its a japanese site but the models are cheaper than anywhere else.

For scale that goes for detail I would recommend the HG 1/144 line if your just in seed and destiny. If your going for all gundams I would say the MG line.

Glue and paint you need to buy seperatly. Get acrylic paint cause enamal makes the models brittle, while most models dont need need glue you might need it cause sometimes it wont stay together.

Thanks, thats almost perfect info. If anyone else can add to that, that'd be great, and I'll probably have more questions as things come along wink.gif.

Of course I have no authority in this, but Kane's models look like they're gettin high on some cheap grass, while TC's look like they're in love with themselves. Just look at God Gundam. Kane should make them look less blazed, and TC should be make them less gay.

I dont have the greatest Digicam so thats why the pics look like shit. However the models are excellent quality. When you have as many models as I do then you can have a say in all this.

TC's God Gundam is a little too bright that's all.the Last one which has some chadows turned out 'less gay.' Anyway it'd be really cool if TC can manipulate the shadows more biggrin.gif

Well, I bought an HG 1/144 Aile Strike (only one item to test things out), and am looking forward to its arrival. Just wondering, how long do things take to ship from HLJ?
